The Scholarship Application is due by April 7, 2025.
CRITERIA FOR AN AWARD:
*Participants must be entering their freshman year at an accredited institution of higher learning during the 2025-2026 academic year.
*Must have maintained an overall grade point average of 2.5 or above.
*A copy of the participant’s academic transcript must accompany the application.
*Participants must submit a one-page personal biography, typed and double-spaced, outlining their career goals and community service involvement as well as why they feel they should receive a scholarship.
*A minimum of one (1) letter of recommendation must accompany each application. Any recommendations should be written by either an academic sponsor or a community leader (e.g. pastor, leader of a community organization, coordinator of a public service activity, etc. ). No relatives, please. No more than two (2) recommendations will be accepted.
Selected finalists will be notified no later than May 5, 2025.
